I became a model at age 50. This was and has been a dream of mine since I was a little girl. Education and career were the sole areas of my life that were emphasized throughout my childhood as a young Latina; beauty as a craft and a career, was not. I believe that women can be valued for their beauty, both inside and out; their natural outer beauty and their inner kindness and empathetic nature. I also believe that women can and should be valued for their beauty and brains, and that being outwardly beautiful should not diminish nor dismiss the perception of the intelligence of a woman, nor the effectiveness of her leadership abilities. Women are powerful because we are beautiful, inside and out. I relish in expressing myself through my inner and outer beauty by wearing and representing brands that empower women.
